In an update to his
online blog Michael Bay has confirmed that the recently reviewed script for the forthcoming Transformers Moive is over 4 months old. he writes:
The script reviews -- I've seen, have been great but - I know they read a 112 page draft that was on record of four months old, but the dates they have given are wrong. We have done so much work since then.
I just hope people don't spoil it for people hearing everything in the movie before they see the movie - that's so lame.
I've anticipated leaks for months so I keep the only shooting script in my computer. Nobody has it, not even actors get a full script. Steven Spielberg taught me this trick.
He also confirms filiming is taking place at White Sands Missisle base and they have been shooting footage o CV-22's (Ospreys) as well as stealth fighters, low attack missile runs, A10 Warthogs and more. He writes:
I'm working on the military aspects of the film right now in New Mexico at Hollaman Air Force base and the Army's White Sands missile base. The military has been stellar with us. This is the largest military cooperation since Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down.
Friday we shot two CV-22's (Ospreys). They fly like aliens dropping out of the sky. We also shot stealth fighters and low attack missile runs (50 feet off the deck) A10 Warthogs. They look so deadly and mean.
We also shot in an army tank grave yard, that has more tanks in it then all of Iraq. The military cast Josh and Tyrese are surrounded with top notch Seal Team members.

Michael Bay as part of an investment group has helped acquire DIGITAL DOMAIN. DIGITAL DOMAIN is
"an award-winning full-service digital studio and production company that creates special visual effects and other visual imagery for feature films, commercials and music videos." There is no word on as to if this will have any affect on the Transformers Movie at this time. Previously it was
reported here KNB EFX would be doing the special effects for the movie.

Don Murphy has confirmed
another news bit by posting the item on his
board. Taken from the movie (pay site)
The Hollywood Reporter, it comfirms that next
Rachael Taylor a few more people have added to the list of castings.
Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break, Mr 3000) has been cast for the movie and
Tyrese Gibson (Four Brothers, 2 Fast 2 Furious) is still in negotiations. The article mentions that Rachael Taylor's characters is named Maggie Marconi who is a codebreaker at a think tank. Nolasco and Gibson are pegged to play Army Officers. Interesting to note is that both Nolasco and Gibson also played parts in the 2003 movie 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Michael Bay has posted a message in his forum at
Michaelbay.com. In his post Bay addresses the recent rumors that have been flying around the internet lately. Here is what Bay Posted:
"It is a bit tiresome to watch all the supposed script leaks on Don Murphy's site. There has been a lot of chatter about character names and what 'things' may be called in the script. I'm going to let everyone in on a little secret. Something that the writer's don't know, nor my crew, or Steven Speilberg, or the president's of Paramount or Dreamworks. Not even Don Murphy who is not involved on the day to day with this movie. Many of the names in the script are aliases. The only people that know the real names of many of these characters are the COO of Hasbro, their corporate lawyer and myself. I think this is two less people that knew the secret recipe for coca-cola. On my directing contract I had to sign all these non disclosure agreements just on this character name point. These names will not be revealed until the toy boxes are printed. The writer's had to construct the script where no actor needed to verbally refer to a character by name other then the main few. So rest assured AKA Devastator, is really not Devastator.
Michael"
