Yeah, you thought getting exclusives was already hard enough at times, but you seen nothing yet! A few days ago, Hasbro announced their first NFT, as they said they would (which yes, goes against their claims to be environmentally friendly). However, what is new here is that this NFT purchase is the only way to get an exclusive. For this first outing, it is a special edition Dino Megazord. The NFT itself costs $200 but you can then redeem the token you get for the actual toy. And yes, since this is part of a blockchain, you have to have the digital wallet that goes with this blockchain. While this was not a Transformers toy, we wanted to give you a heads up at the new kind of currency Hasbro is now accepting in case it happens with a Transformers exclusive next. This will also create a change in the secondary market for collectibles since the NFT component could likely be sold again, meaning the same product would have a digital and physical secondary market. Also, this NFT is sold out.

First Look at Legacy Blaster, Iguanus, Skywarp and Hot Rod + More Official Images of Today's Reveals

While we did show this image in the news earlier today, we did not have much time to go over it since we wanted to get you the details of the reveals asap. But now, we have a bit of time to go over it and we see that this Pulsecon did reveal all the wave 1 toys afterall including Blaster and the core class figures, thanks to this poster below. We see a Seeker and that is indeed core Skywarp, who will be a redeco of core Starscream. There is also core Hot Rod which should be a new mold, he also seems to be holding a sword. Most importantly, since this was a big question from people, we see Iguanas. He is the purple reptilian face on the lower right. This confirms that this core Iguanas is G1 Ignauas and not the Beast wars one. Rumour is that the robot mode is the monster shell which turns into a vehicle.

We also see Blaster, next to Arcee atop Bulkhead. Now it is still uncertain if Blaster will still be coming out in Kingdom, we still have a wave left, or if his first time on the shelves will be in the Legacy line. But regardless, this is out first look at him in his G1 glory.

Finally, we have a lot more stock images and official shots of all the reveals of today. They can all be found below. And to answer people's common questions: YES Dragstrip will combine to form Menasor, this was confirmed in the panel, and NO he does not appear to have a combiner peg that would make him Combiner Wars compatible. Menasor is the only combiner appearing in the mainline next year.

Some of these are available on Hasbro Pulse, including the exclusive Galvatorn figure, and they mainline toys can or will be avialable for purchase at your preferred online retailer.

Greetings Seibertronians!

Today is October 22, 2021. The Day WFC Trilogy Agent Ravage is finally officially released! It's now up for order at Hasbro Pulse or available to buy in store at Gamestop (formerly E.B Games) in Canada.

The price at 53$US seems expensive for many, but this set is limited and include a reissue of G1 Ravage. Agent Ravage is a severe retool of Kingdom deluxe Cheetor with so many new parts, he might as well be a new mold.

On with the review!

The packaging is pretty unique. It have a nice window display on the front and artwork on the back referring to the original Beast Wars show.





The instructions are in full colors and are very clear.



À la Studio Series, the cardboard insert of the box can serve as a backdrop of Ravage's spaceship interior. It even have a space to insert G1 Ravage in cassette mode into the main computer!



Out of the box, this is what you get:

-2 Guns (left and right) for Agent Ravage
-2 Guns (left and right) for G1 Ravage



Agent Ravage is absolutely fantastic. The painting details are minimal, but they are placed perfectly in the right spots. The rest are a nice choice of plastic colors with excellent texturing.



This ravage is a bit back heavy and he have small feet. This limit some poses.



The panther legs just hang there on the back, but it's not too bad.



That head sculpt is magnificent.



The mouth can open and it's painted in great details!



Ravage is not so limited when posing if you cheat using his tail. Plus he wield his guns proudly.





I managed to balance him on one foot without any problem.



He can store his guns on his hips. That's a weapon storage that makes sense and is appreciated.



Ravage can even wield his G1 guns!



Obligatory comparison with Kingdom Cheetor. Ravage is much more massive than Cheetor.



G1 Ravage don't have any stickers compared to the original. Rather he have printed paint aps.





He still have his diecast legs like the original and he balance surprisingly well.



He's a slim boy.



Of course, he's only truly complete with his chromed guns.





Both Agent and G1 looks fantastic together!



Transformation is easy and intuitive. I only looked up the instructions to make sure I wasn't bending things the wrong way. This result in a very intimidating beast!



Contrary to Cheetor, the head can move, making the beast way more expressive.



I love how the robot arms complete the beast's back.



He can wield his guns, G1 style, but only as "rocket boosters".





Putting the guns forward only makes him looks about to shoot his front legs off. Plus this doesen't look good.



Comparison with Cheetor in beast mode. Once again, Ravage is bigger.





Evolution!



The cardboard backdrop have a bit of trouble standing on it's own. It must lean against something like another box, or the wall.



This makes for a epic and iconic display!

EDIT:
Seems that the front legs of the panther mode were purposely missasembled by Hasbro for some reasons. The biceps of the front legs face the wrong way and the legs bend the wrong way. However, this is a very easy fix. The front legs of the beast are only on ball joints that can easily be popped off and on. So swapping the legs can be done instantly without any breakage risks. Now the beast mode look right once the front legs are swapped.

Agent Ravage feel right at home in the WFC Kingdom Beasts display.



Final verdict: There's no denying that this boxset is expensive. But honestly, it's well worth the money. Everything feel nice in hand plus it's the only way appart the ultra rare Takara original to have the character from the iconic Beast Wars show.

Cheetor Confirmed to be in Transformers Rise of the Beasts

While toy reveals were the biggest part of the Transformers segment in Pulsecon 2021, there was some Rise of the Beasts news as well. Anthony Ramos, the star of the film, confirmed Cheetor to be in this film. You can see that segment at the 1:40:00 mark in the video below. That would mean that the Beast cast, so far, is made up of Optimus Primal, Airazor, Rhinox and Cheetor. We alsohave Nightbird, Scourge and Battletrap as Terrorcons and Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Mirage and Wheeljack as Autobots. No names have been given for Decepticons or Predacons in the film.

Please note, the picture in the thumbnail is of old concept art, we do not know how Cheetor will look like in this film yet.

A reporting by Cuscopolita, which you can watch right here on Facebook, looks at the different vehicles/characters on the set of Transformers Rise of the Beasts. You get a good look at the interior, if that's something you wanted to see. But more importantly, we get the names of all these vehicle characters. We learn that the Volkswagen van is indeed Wheeljack as many had guessed. The Tow Truck is called Battletrap and from the looks of it it's most probably just a cool name for a bad guy with no relation to the G1 toy.

Mark Maher, one of the lead Transformers designers at Hasbro, has made a post on Instagram talking about the upcoming "G1" Bulkhead. He will be presenting this toy and others from Legacy tomorrow at Pulsecon. Speaking of Pulsecon, the schedule has changed There will noe be an entire other Transformers segment dedicated to the entertainment side of things like video games and the Rise of the Beasts film. There will even be a Vince DiCola concert. The details are below. Here is the link to the youtube page where the event will be shown.

We had a pretty good idea of what was coming out next year for the Studio Series line which will be made up of toys from the Bay films, the Bumblebee movie's Cybertron scene and the 86 movie. And now we have the EAN codes to further confirm these upcoming releases. This is not a definite list, meaning there may be some which we don't have the codes yet.

The images of Skids and Bulkhead showed them coming with clear plastic weapons and that turns out to be the line's gimmick, as confirmed by Hasbro just now on Facebook:

Courtesy of IGN, we now have reveals for two of the figures that are going to be shown this Friday along with the other wave 1 Transformers Legacy figures. The Bulkhead is giving us an idea that we should not expect toys accurate to the Prime show and this is more of a Generations/G1ified version of the character, as we had seen previously with RTS Lugnut. It is also rumoured that this mold will be used for a voyager Optimus Prime as well.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news with all you Transformers fans that Jack Angel has passed away. His wife's agency confirmed it earlier today, he was four days away from his 91st birthday. Jack Angel was a very prolific voice actor who just kept working his entire life, from his role as Hawkman in the The All-New Super Friends Hour in 1977, to his role as Val in Care Bears: Unlock the Magic in 2019.

What fans will know him best as is him being one of the main voice cast members of the G1 Transformers show. There, he played Ramjet, Smokescreen, Omega Supreme, Astrotrain, Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus (following the death of Roger C. Carmel), Basso Profundo, Katsu Don, Sir Wulf, Professor Terranova and a Sweep.

We offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

We all had a good laugh at the terribly proportioned Optimus Prime statue from Lootcrate a few months back. Well, the good folks there didn't want the fun to end there so now they are bringing that style to the Beas era. To celebrate the 25th anniversary, they are giving us a Beast Wars Megatron in the very same vein. You'll let us know what you think and if you'll pick it up. Remember, loot boxes that are not sold will be shredded and stuck in a landfill, as can be seen in the video here.
