Earlier this week, Paramount treated a small group of die-hard Transformers and Michael Bay fans to a special Transformers The Last Knight Super Fan Event. The day began at Universal Studios, continued on to the Paramount Lot in Hollywood, proceeded to Bay Films in Santa Monica where we hung out with Michael Bay for about 90 minutes, and the day ended at the IMAX Headquarters in Los Angeles where Bay showed us an additional 25 minutes of various footage from the upcoming Last Knight film. The images below are a small sampling of our galleries from this exciting day. Each image links to a larger gallery. Transformers The Ride - 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood
Our day began by heading over to Universal Studios Hollywood to check out Transformers The Ride - 3D. It was fun to once again go on this ride, which is a lot of fun if you haven't had a chance to do it yet. Paramount Lot Tour
Next on our agenda, we were treated to a special Paramount Lot Tour complete with cameos by Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Dr. Phil! We even got to check out the Technicolor sound stage where they were working on the audio for several scenes from Transformers The Last Knight, though unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures during that part of our tour.

Some of the "real" stars of the Transformers The Last Knight film were present at Paramount today including Optimus Prime (Western Star 5700 XE), Bumblebee (Chevrolet Camaro), Crosshairs (Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray), Drift (Mercedes-AMG GT R), Barricade (Ford Mustang police car), and Mohawk (Confederate Motorcycle). Unfortunately, Megatron and Hound weren't available. Images from last year's set visit in Detroit with additional vehicles can be seen here or you can view the ones on Paramount's lot here. Bay Films and IMAX HQ visit
Paramount surprised us further by taking us over to Bay Films in Santa Monica, CA, where Transformers Director Michael Bay visited with our group for the next 90 minutes, showing us things he was working on currently with The Last Knight. After dinner, we all headed over to IMAX Headquarters a few blocks away where Michael Bay showed us approximately 25 minutes of promotional footage that will be shown at Cinema Con. We had photos opps with him, a couple of beverages, and enjoyed our time visiting with him and the folks from Paramount and IMAX. Amazing experience! More on my thoughts about the footage at a later date.

First up, the team gets the opportunity to interview Barber and Hedgecock about Revolution, Revolutionaries, Optimus Prime, and more. We start off discussing how the editors, writers, and artists stay coordinated across a myriad of titles, including scheduling, planning, and easter eggs. The interview jumps off into the transition from Action Man to Revolutionaries.

Next, we jump into discussion of scheduling and some of the post-holiday delays in several of the ongoing titles. If you've been at all frustrated or curious about the scheduled releases of books and what can happen along the way to delay these plans, you'll want to tune in to this interview!

Shifting towards Optimus Prime, we discuss Barber's transition from editor to writer and the implications to his process before moving onto some deep discussion on the Thirteen Primes, upcoming issues of Optimus Prime, and even the possibility Unicron in IDW.

We finish up with some "just for fun" questions. Answers to these shouldn't be taken too seriously, or as canonical material - or should they? Tune in to this part of the interview as our guests are great sports about some of the goofiest questions we could cook up.
John Barber once again being a good sport
Finally, we catch up with Chris Ryall on the show floor and talk some ROM. Our chat includes a look at why this character ended up in the shared Hasbro Universe after the long wait its author went through to bring it into reality. Also, we find out whether entities such as Lost Light's Galactic Council are aware of the Solstar Order and its influence.
Not all Dire Wraiths are evil...
We wrap up our time with Chrischarger with a couple questions related to both the More Than Meets the Eye Revolution one shot and the true nature of some Dire Wraiths. Plus, a teaser on the actual identity of the Masked Bear!

The now-defunct Club's Transformers Subscription Service 5.0 is (finally) shipping, and Pete Sinclair of FunPub renown has put together his own convention. Megatronus and Rotorstorm take this opportunity to discus life after the Club, our post-mortem on the end of TFCC, and where we're looking to fill that void.

The Transformers: The Last Knight app is now available for download on the app store. The app already has quite a bit of info and activities such as mini games, polls and trivia challenges.
There will be weekly updates for the games and there are unlockables for completing the activities, like wallpapers for your phone. There is also a very lengthy history of all things Transformers including the Quintessons.

Transformers The Last Knight actress Isabela Moner posted the latest trailer on her official Facebook page. This trailer, which prominently features Isabela herself, debuted this weekend in front of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The trailer has a "girl power" / "fight like a girl" theme to it, which is appropriate considering that it is being shown with Beauty and the Beast. Check out the trailer below to see some all-new scenes featuring Grimlock, Hound, Megatron, Bumblebee, and more!
As many of you may know, Transformers: Earth Wars has been running for around 9 months now, and since the game began back in June of 2016, players were limited to only one faction: Autobot, or Decepticon. Well, players will now no longer be limited to just one faction!
Earth Wars has published its most recent update today that allows players for the first time to play as either Autobot or Decepticon! This means that all you good little Autobots may now play a bit to your darker tyrannical side, while the nasty cons can play a bit with their heroic side. The game allows players to unlock 35 characters from the opposite faction, though you cannot group bots and cons on the same team, and you can still only be in an alliance based on your original faction.

For the First Time, Players Are Free to Collect Transformers From Either Faction
Today, a brand new update comes to the real-time combat strategy mobile game Transformers: Earth Wars that allows players to unlock up to 35 new Bots. When the game launched in June 2016, players were required to join a single Transformers faction -- Autobots or Decepticons -- and assemble a powerful team to raid the opposite faction. Via the official YouTube channel for Transformers - or rather its Transformers Family version - we have a Spanish-captioned teaser clip of an upcoming videogame, with some parallels with The Last Knight's imagery for Optimus Prime's optic change and the words 'The fate of the Transformers is in your hands!'.
This could well just be another TLK related game, but may also have something to do with scannable codes in Tiny Turbo Changers packaging, similar to the mobile app for Robots in Disguise. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more!
