The April cover of the
Japanese magazine “TV Magazine” has the full reveal of an exclusive redeco of the Energon Igniters Speed Series Bumblebee. We got the first glimpse of this figure
a month ago. “Energon Charge” Bumblebee will be available through an offer with the magazine, with the figure now having all its yellow plastic cast in a clear yellow. We have mirrored the magazine cover below and the magazine is scheduled for release on the 15th April and can be ordered via the Japanese Amazon site
here, which is where the image came from.
Has this exclusive got enough value to order a ¥1,058 magazine (approx. $10.00USD) plus post or is it simply too obscure or frivolous to bother with? Let us know in the comments section below
here on Seibertron.com!

Reduce, reuse, and recycle, yo! Why you ask, you may ask. Well, we have news of a new book! The
Transformers Give Your Old Stuff The Reboot! or as seen on the cover,
Transformers Recycle It! Written by Devra Newberger Scollon (and photographed by Anthony Nex), the book itself appears to be a guide book on how you can use junk like cardboard or... Kool Aid (you'll see) and turn it into working robots, furniture, and more! It also includes a kit to build a 3D Transformers character (presumably out of cardboard or thick paper).
The description:
Bumblebee and his team of Autobots show kids how to TRANSFORM all their old junk into cool, new swag! They’ll discover ways to recycle and repurpose everything from old toys to cereal boxes, and transform them into working robots, go-carts, even sturdy, usable furniture for their room! There’s even a fun way to TRANSFORM expired Kool-Aid into paint! Front and back gatefolds include punch out and assemble 3D Transformers!
You can see the Amazon listing
here or click the image of the cover below. The cover itself below depicts the evergreen design of Bumblebee used in Cyberverse. The book itself is Paperback and is set to start shipping out on March 29th, 2019. You can pre-order it now for $12.99.

Thanks to Seibertronian
cyberpath, we have our first look at the upcoming Transformers Generations 2019 book! The book, which has become a regular look at Transformers concept art and toy art, is now up for Pre-Order at
Amazon Japan for 3100 Yen, or approximately $27 in USD. The book cover is not shown in the Pre-Order, but does come to us from
@ao_zooora on Twitter[/url]. The new cover features a ton of characters based on their Power of the Primes toys, as Cyberpath notes below, along with an Optimus Prime that appears to be based on his new upcoming Masterpiece toy. All of these have been drawn in beautiful G1-esque retro artwork.
Check out the cover below, and head on over to Amazon Japan to place your Pre-Order! The book is due December 10 of this year.
Featuring the titan-class Predaking; the PotP Dinobots, Terrorcons & Rodimus Prime, among others. And an Optimus Prime with transformation seams consistent with those of the upcoming 35th Annv. Masterpiece.

With the Transformers Bumblebee movie coming in just one month (to the day), the marketting campaign is picking up some major steam. Bumblebee, in his film look, is appearing in as many places as possible. He was part of the Toronto
Santa Claus parade in both his robot and car mode on a float.
Bumblebee will also be part of
next month's loot crate along with merchandize from Dungeons and Dragons, Fallout and more (all in th same crate).
In more car related news, Bumblebee is part of Gamestop's advertizing on Christopher Bell's NASCAR racecar. He even included a video of the new adverts being applied to the car which you can see
here.
Lastly, we have not one but two Bumblebee related books now on Amazon for anyone to purchase.
There is the
Junior Novel and the
Passport to Reading Level 2 book A New Car for Charlie.

Sabrblade has informed us of new scans showing the Transformers Adventure comic that came in the Hero-X Transformers Generations book. Transformers Adventure was the Japanese version of the latest Robots in Disguise line and included characters we didn't get in the western version of the line Runamuck, Runabout, Lockdown, Overdrive, Black Convoy and many others.
Sabrblade wrote:Courtesy of
Allspark.com user Creedence, here are
scans of the Adventure manga story that was published by Hero-X in the Transformers Generations 2015 book (translation of the story's title still pending as of this typing).
It features appearances of many toy-only characters from the Adventure toyline (including the ones exclusive to Hero-X) who did not appear in the RID 2015 cartoon (but which
does include a couple of characters from the previous Prime cartoon).

IDW has reached out to us with a new press release advertising their upcoming one-shot Graphic Novel called
Transformers: Bumblebee – Win If You Dare. The new novel is intended for release on September 11, 2018 and is set to cost $9.99. The novel will follow a Bumblebee adventure, where life is never easy when you aren't the tallest or the fastest Autobot around. It is also important to note that this appears to not be related to any current continuity.
You can read up on the press release below, and for past reference, you can check out our
original story regarding this new book.
TRANSFORMERS ORIGINAL GRAPHIC NOVEL STARRING BUMBLEBEE ARRIVES FALL 2018
An All-New, All-'80s Bumblebee Adventure From IDW Publishing
San Diego, CA (February 22, 2018) – IDW Publishing is thrilled to announce that in 2018 Bumblebee from the TRANSFORMERS franchise will star in his very own original graphic novel! The perfect jumping on point for the next generation of TRANSFORMERS fans, Transformers: Bumblebee – Win If You Dare gives readers the opportunity to join in the fan-favorite character’s adventures. Life can feel rough when you aren't the fastest or the tallest Autobot, but Bumblebee is up to the task!
When his best friend is hurt, Bumblebee takes it upon himself to finish the mission—and prove his worth to his fellow Autobots along the way. Things get tense as Bumblebee and a new human friend infiltrate a series of incredible races, hunting down dangerous foes and a devastating secret. It's an exciting new, action-packed '80s adventure! X-Men '92 co-writers Chad Bowers and Chris Sims along with artist Marcelo Ferreira (Back to the Future, Transformers: Windblade) have crafted a nostalgia-tinged, yet equally fresh standalone story.
"The exciting thing about this book is that it really hits all the highs of TRANSFORMERS for fans new and old," said IDW Associate Editor, David Mariotte. "It has action, adventure, racing and robots, but it also has a lot of heart and humor that comes through in this simultaneously retro and very modern package."
“This story is just a ton of fun,” said Michael Kelly, head of publishing at Hasbro. “Bumblebee is the ultimate underdog, and everyone loves an underdog. IDW has done a fantastic job bringing this iconic character to life for a new generation of fans.”
This new OGN will be available in comic shops and book stores September 11, 2018 for $9.99. It is available for pre-order now using ISBN: 978-1-68405-227-1.
Since its launch in 1984, TRANSFORMERS has grown to be one of the world’s most recognizable and successful toy and entertainment brands. Throughout the franchise’s more than 30 years of history, thousands of unique TRANSFORMERS robots have been introduced through toy lines, multiple animated TV series have debuted, and animated and live-action films have thrilled audiences

Diego Valdez of the
A.C.T.A. Asociación Cultural Transformers Argentina facebook group has posted a few images of a new kid's activity book. This appears to be part of what has been nicknamed the Transformers 'Evergreen' line which uses the same art style as the
Transformers Authentics toy line. We have included some images of the contents of the book so you can get an idea of what some of the puzzles and games are like. The book itself was discovered in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 69.90 Argentinian Pesos (About $3.60 USD with the current exchange rates). It was manufactured by Vertice Editorial who's products can be found in Chile and Uruguay also.
