No, he does not look exactly like the thumbnail, that's 08 BB, but we do have some more prototype pictures to share of the alt mode, robot modes (protoform, and Earth mode), as well as, the 'comet' form-- the travel through the atmosphere shell form.
You can view the images
here.
Like the idea of the Trans-scanning figures? Think it's a load of exhaust and leakin' lubricants?

Yes, it seems that this cool figure is now starting to show up at retail.
It was found in a Walmart in California, but not too many other sitings have shown up yet.
Good news though! You can nab him for the gas money you'll spend hunting for him at BIGBADTOYSTORE! You can order up the S7 SUV
here!
Let us know when you find yours in the Sitings Thread and reporting database.

Is your CLASSICS Ultra Magnus feeling a tad naked? Does he need a little help to feel complete?
TFCLUB, the makers of the Cliffjumper upgrade and the upcoming Masterpiece Starscream upgrade, seem to have hit yet another homerun for upgrade sets.
A blurry picture, and some knowledgable TFClub customer talk on TFW2005 and the Allspark, seem to relate that this is true, and the best part, that the auctions should at least start at an affordable price and that there should be enough for most of the folks who want one.
Will this set come to fruition, and be available for the common folks to get at a reasonable price? Time will tell , but it is certainly interesting to consider.
You can see the thread with blurry image
here.
Note: I did not go to the original link, because folks were complaining of viruses there, like last time.
Here's an auction for the
CLIFFJUMPER UPGRADE SET from TFClub.

An
article has appeared on
24-7 Press Release about the current popularity of the (movie) Transformers. And in particular Ultimate Bumblebee. The article goes into detail on how the Ultimate Bumblebee collectable has become hard to find. Perhaps not news to the avid Transformers collector, but a nice read all the same.
