As with the majority of past years, another Transformer has hit the nomination rolls for the Toy of the Year awards. This time around, it happens to be DJ Bumblebee, the non-transforming, music-loving figure from this year's Bumblebee movie. Also as with years past, you can head over for Bumblebee to win! He's been listed in the action figure catagory, against toys like the Mattel Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Dinosaur line, the Pokemon Battle Feature action figures, and more. You can place your vote in the Action Figure category and all the others here, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for an update if Bumblebee takes the award home!

Thanks to a heads up from friend of the site Remourn, we have word that the Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking is now on sale for $139.99 on Amazon.com!
This new price drops Predaking, the mighty beast combiner comprised of Razorclaw, Divebomb, Torax AKA Tantrum, Headstrong, and Rampage, along with the Onyx Prime Prime Master, down $20 from his original $159.99 pricepoint, and it gets even better.
Amazon right now is running a $20 off toy purchases over $100, and Predaking has been shown to be one of the figures that qualifies him for this price drop. If you're keeping track, that means you can purchase a Predaking figure for $119.99, which is 25% off his original price!
You can follow the link above or click the picture below to head on over to Amazon and get yourself a Predaking figure! And if you do get him, let us know about it, and what you think of the toy itself, in the comments section below!

Remember that TF spot #1 for Bumblebee that was in Spanish, and we were waiting on an English version of said trailer? Well, that English version has now dropped!
Thanks to the Comicbook.com Youtube channel, we have a new look at the TV spot #1 trailer, which here is revealed to be a full length international trailer as well. This version of the 1 minute long trailer shows us the same content from the previous Spanish version, but is now in English with Spanish subtitles. The trailer includes mostly previously seen footage, plus a shot of what looks like Thundercracker getting beat down by Optimus Prime, and Bumblebee's fun in trying to learn how to toilet paper a house.
Attached to this trailer are a few shorter TV spots as well, the first of which is in English and features a shot of what appears to be Charlie's family, along with a new shot of Shatter shooting her weapon in the same running scene from her and Dropkick's first robot mode images.
Check it all out below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Good news for those still struggling to fine our fan vote Prime! Thanks to a heads up from DeathReviews, we have word that Hasbro Toy Shop once more has the Power of the Primes Optimal Optimus in stock! This figure has been one that has baffled and angered people with his very spotty distribution (as in, he has only just started showing up alongside the new Siege figures), and this may be one of your best opportunities to get him at retail price, with Siege beginning to overrun the pegs and stores like Walmart having stopped stocking Power of the Primes Leader figures after wave 1 or 2.
You can follow the above link to the Optimal Optimus page, or you can click the picture down below! He comes in at $49.99 before tax, so he qualifies for the free shipping from HTS as well. Let us know if you pick him up in the comments section below!

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Survivefan23, we have word that AMC Theatres have revealed the runtime for the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee movie!
The run time for the movie, as per AMC, is shown to be 1 hour 54 minutes, significantly shorter than the previous movies in the live action universe. with the remaining movies clocking in somewhere near 2 and a half hours. What this means for the quality of the movie is yet to be seen, considering Avengers: Infinity War was a slamming success despite such a long runtime, and the Lord of the Rings movies were also extra long and well received, but other long movies such as Transformers: The Last Knight and Bladerunner 2049 did not really live up to the expectations set for them.
So what does this run time mean for you? Does this excite or disappoint you? Let us know in the comments section below!

Thanks to Seibertronian Survivefan23, we have word that the Bumblebee movie has received its official rating, and that rating is PG-13. While this doesn't come as too big of a surprise and it is a small disappointment to those hoping this movie would end up with a PG rating. Considering every live action Transformers movie so far has been PG-13, the rating description is the interesting part of this PG-13 designation.
As many fans will remember, the previous 5 movies included text related to "intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, brief sexual humor, and language." This film, however, only contains the very brief description "Rated PG-13 for sequences of sci-fi action violence."
So what this means for the movie is that the only reason this has its PG-13 rating is because of robot fighting time. There are no language concerns nor crude humor to be expected from this movie, meaning this movie is hewing more to its Iron Giant styled description and relying more on playful innocent fun for its humor and enjoyment.
So what do you think of this rating? Let us know in the comments section below!

I Need a Hero (to Save Me Now) A Seibertron.com semi-spoilerish review of IDW Tranformers: Unicron #6
EARTH WAR! With Unicron's ultimate goal revealed, the shaky alliance of Autobots and Decepticons is all that stands between Earth and the planet-eater. Heroes will rise-and fall-as Optimus Prime journeys into the dark heart of Unicron for the final confrontation with evil. At stake: the soul of a universe.
I'm just a step away
I'm just a breath away
Losin' my faith today
Fallin' off the edge today
And so the story ends. The finale comes, and the universe shakes, rocks, rattles, and rolls. But the question is, did the conclusion finally bring the show to justice?
Well, let's discuss this shall we?
I am just a man
Not superhuman
For starters, let's talk about our main cast. Aileron is here, and she does her part, but there is nothing really spectacular. Arcee is her typical badass self, but really doesn't need to do much to be a part of the action. She's there, and she does what she does best. Windblade and Bumblebee are also sort of just here, not really doing too much to the overall story despite previous prominence. Which is OK, all of the named characters have had some moments to shine, so their lack of doing much is forgivable.
Especially when you consider our big 3: Soundwave, Starscream, and Optimus Prime. To me, this story finally got Starscream back in line with what Till All Are One had set him up to be, and finally seems to shake loose from the later Barber runs and revert back to what IDW appears to have wanted him to be, and that is a good thing. He and his seekers got some really nice moments together and individually, so I appreciate this. Soundwave continues to pull the heart apart, and I love his part in the conclusion of this story, very well done. And Optimus is not quite Optimus. His retraction of the faceplate and the fact that he never wears it again after he gets ready to go to orbit to fight Unicron is very telling, as is the (near) conclusion of his storyline. He is Orion once more, the masks, as he puts it, are gone. He is who is he is, and he helps smooth a few of his bumpy points.
It's just another war
Just another family torn
Just a step from the edge
Just another day in the world we live
We also had some other nice character moments, from all corners of the Transformers and the Hasbro Universe in general. Action Man gets in a good shot, the seekers are great, the Dinobots do a nice part, the return of a fan favorite character by Mount Rushmore was awesome to see, Prowl, Stardrive, and Rhinox with their moments of light, and even some Sharkticons and Junkions. The wind down pages in particular, with several important character interactions, was done very nicely as well, a good bookend to the series.
Who's gonna fight for what's right
Who's gonna help us survive
We're in the fight of our lives
And we're not ready to die
But for every good moment we had, there seemed to be a dim bulb preventing the light from fully shining. Slide is without a doubt the worst part of the book, and the worst part of IDW's Optimus Prime run if I'm honest. She ended up as such an unlikable character that I feel didn't deserve the storyline she ended up getting. The continued random cameos of Maximals that don't really do anything and don't really get any development besides Rhinox in any way was disappointing. Unicron himself and how he relates to his creator, and indeed his creator in general were lacking. The way Bludgeon, Monstructor, and the Dinobots resolved felt like a bit of a mess.
But most importantly, several moments in the book that were supposed to be huge just didn't ring. They sort of thudded. Starscream, the Maximal's victims, and Unicron's creator fall heavy in this category. They needed some more oomph. And the climatic finale itself needed some extra bits in the final resolution, as I feel the true climatic moment was with Soundwave, not with Unicron or Orion.
Who's gonna fight for the weak
Who's gonna make 'em believe
I've got a hero (I've got a hero)
Livin' in me
Art duties were very heavily scattered with this book, bringing in artists from almost all the main IDW ongoings over the past few years, including Alex Milne, Sara Pitre-Durocher, Kei Zama, and Andrew Griffith. While there were noticeable shifts between most of the artist changes, with Zama using her more monstrous features, Milne his pointy-ness and detailings, and Griffith's and Pitre-Durocher's smoother and less complicated look, there was never a feeling of real disconnect, thanks to the efforts of David Garcia Cruz and Joana Lafuente. While they did give some coloring liberties to pages with certain artists, calling back to said artist's previous books and color stylings, such as Zama's pages having a more dark, metal look while Pitre-Durocher's was more clean, smooth, and bright, They did a pretty good job of keeping the look and feel of the book consistent while still giving each artist that special spice of uniqueness. Tom B. Long also continues his work of letting the art be enjoyed to its fullest extent while giving us the important dialogue needed for the story.
A hero's not afraid to give his life
A hero's gonna save me just in time
I need a hero to save me now
I need a hero, save me now
I need a hero to save my life
A hero'll save me just in time
So in conclusion, this story fell somewhere in the middle ground. The story wasn't particularly bad overall, but it certainly felt like it lacked the excitement factor, the big push, that big wow moment that it really needed to be spectacular. The characters in the book and their screen time were handled pretty well, we just needed some characters to shine more in their moments (Starscream) and others who really needed to be given fewer pages and didn't feel like they got more than they deserved (Slide). Soundwave for me was the shining point of the book, which says a lot seeing as what role others played in the grand scheme of things. We also needed more of that expanded universe, the little shots were nice, but I feel we could have used a bit more of the Hasbro Universe itself, especially seeing as how ROM has played such a small role in this issue considering he started out the book as one of the seemingly more important characters.
But most importantly, we got a new take on Unicron, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. The destruction he caused and the look were impressive, but what he ended up being was a bit disappointing. I feel like we could have gotten a lot more from this badass villain who was the end. I feel like the moments inside him would have done very well for a personality of his own to shine through, but we did not get that. And considering how big of a deal he was, I wish we could have gotten a bit more from him.
And the series itself feels like that overall. It had potential, but for some reason, the big moments just never got quite the flare they needed. It needed something more, a bit more life to it, and maybe a bit less of the Main Cast and a bit more of the small moments, like Blurr's moment, but for others. It also needed a bit more of Unicron, and maybe a bit better executed finale. But overall, again not bad, just not quite up where I wish this book could overall have been.

This final Review of Unicron #6 features the Skillet song Hero, a personal favorite of mine, and the fitting end to this book.
As I tried but ended up not being able to work it into a single issue review, I decided to make my personal favorite song of all time the theme song for the series itself, and I feel this song in a way encapsulates how several characters felt in the series, never giving up in spite of overwhelming odds, and keep their faith. The theme song for the Unicron series is: Feel Invincible, also by Skillet. As it is the theme, I have also linked the video below for listening without leaving this page:

With the new Metroplex Theme Deck hitting online vendors and hobby shops alike on November 21st,the Official Transformers Trading Card Game Facebook page has put up card scans of the exclusive cards contained within the set. We have mirrored them here along with the thoughts of fellow Seibertron user, #Sideways#.
Metroplex Alt Mode
#Sideways# wrote:So here he is, the star of the show: Metroplex's city form. It shows us how everything works in terms of deploying his three small dudes, and it shows us the first 25 star character in the game. In this case, you have to transform him from his robot mode to vehicle form to deploy one of three characters: Slammer, Scamper and Six-Gun. You can go from one character, to four characters in a game -- tall, to wide.
You'll notice two things about Metroplex straight off in terms of his stats: He has abysmal attack, moderate defense and an unbelievably high HP of 35. This makes him the absolute thickest transformer in the game, having 14 more HP than the previous record holder of Cosmos, with 21. But just being hard to kill isn't the name of the game; if that was the case, Insecticons wouldn't be the best deck in format, now wouldn't it? More on that later.
In short, this is the most unique character we've ever seen, and it's not just because his card a nearly a foot tall. Metroplex is the first "deployer" character we've seen, and it makes him very good at doing one thing: Showing how Soundwave or Blaster might work in the future.
Now, you might think that Metroplex is really good, that you'll get out a ton of small dudes and rush down your opponent. The problem with that theory is that you can only transform once in a turn, meaning you have to have a Rapid Conversion or Roll Out in your hand every single turn of the game or you'll fall behind. Trust me when I say, this is not a feasible thing.
This mode is the bread and butter of Metroplex, contrary to what you might think given his robot form.
Metroplex Robot Mode
#Sideways# wrote:Here's the big man himself in his robot form, and his stats only slightly improve. His defense drops, sadly, and his attack is boosted to an average six, but the biggest thing one might notice about him is his ability: Flip two of each pip and your opponent's characters are all force tapped, dealing one damage to each of them in the process.
That sounds powerful.
It sounds powerful.
When you have all three of your small characters out, it is, for sure, but that will seldom happen in a game. But here's the thing: Tapping all of your opponent's characters compared to tapping just one (ala Skrapnel) is bad. When you have all characters on a single side tapped, then the side with characters still untapped have to attack -- in this case, you. All of your characters will then attack at once, leaving your opponent to attack with a character of their choice next turn.
This helps your opponent more than it hurts them. In a deck that plays heavily damaging characters and support characters alongside them, for instance Optimus Prime -- Battlefield Legend with two support cars, you want to attack with the heavily damaging character the most. By tapping all of your opponent's characters, you're allowing them to untap all their characters at the beginning of their turn including their highly damaging characters.
If it simply tapped one or two characters, then you would be denying them an attack with that high damaging character while simultaneously leaving it open to attack -- tapping all characters means they still get to attack with their damaging character over and over again.
But that wouldn't be a problem if you had a higher attack stat. With such a low attack (and defense), you won't be able to take too much ground despite your high HP and ever-increasing numbers. Now, why is that? Let me explain by showing you the rest of what comes in the Metroplex set to support him.
Slammer
#Sideways# wrote:Come on and SLAM! And welcome to the JAM!
Ahem.
First up we have another super unique card, and that's Slammer. Slammer isn't a Transformer, especially since he doesn't have a robot form, but he is useful. Slammer spreads one damage when you deploy him from beneath Metroplex, but more importantly, gives Metroplex Bold 1 passively.
But that's not all about him that makes him interesting: With Slammer, you might notice four things: One, he has the lowest HP in the game, but he also has some of the upper echelon of defense in the game as well -- but neither of those are the most important. The most important things about Slammer is that he is a Tank, and that he is four stars. This means that you can play him, Demolisher and Megatron -- Living Weapon all in the same deck and capitalize on Tank synergy.
Slammer's most use might just come from Megatron, instead of the city from which he came.
Scamper Alt Mode
#Sideways# wrote:There isn't too much to write home about with Scamper's vehicle mode, but there are two things that I really like about this. One, he gives Metroplex Bold 1 -- which is almost never a bad thing -- and two, he is a four star Car. This makes him an easy fill-in for wide Car lists, allowing you to play four Cars and to take advantage of Turbo Boosters as well as Start Your Engines. Of course, in a Metroplex deck I wouldn't advise over-emphasizing Scamper's Car status, but in a Car list, he's an easy fit despite his abilities only activating if you have Metroplex.
Scamper Robot Mode
#Sideways# wrote:His robot form is also something that only activates with Metroplex, but the effects he has are very, very good. Scrapping a weapon or armor is an excellent ability to have in your pocket, especially with how important Force Field is to swinging entire games. Scrapping weapons isn't as important (especially seeing as Grenade Launcher scraps itself after use), but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
His stats are, again, nothing to write home about, but you wouldn't expect him to carry games, anyway.
Six Gun Alt Mode
#Sideways# wrote:"No one dared to make a slip..."
So Six-Gun is probably my favorite character out of this whole thing, simply because he has the most useful abilities out of all three of his comrades. Moreover, he has the best stats out of all his comrades.
His gun mode has the ever-useful ability of indirect damage, he has four stars, and the highest HP out of all his friends. But this really isn't the business end of this guy. Even though his indirect damage is useful, his robot mode is actually slightly better.
Six Gun Robot Mode
#Sideways# wrote:"... The ranger there among them had a big iron on his hip."
With four damage as his base attack, he's the highest damaging character of Metroplex's three small deployers. Sure, he has zero defense, but if there's one thing I've figured out, nine times out of ten, all three of them are going to get fragged in one hit anyway. One of the best parts about him, though, is that he can be the exception to that rule through the use of Force Field. He is the only one that has five HP, meaning that Force Field will be able to activate and save him from certain demise.
Of course, don't expect his four attack to save the game for you -- it's just useful to have a guy who won't instantly detonate as soon as your opponent gets a good look at him.
But one of the more interesting abilities on this card is his Bold ability, giving Metroplex Bold 2 when you transform Six Gun. Of course, you might notice some themes here -- stacking Bold to improve on Metroplex's damage potential and to pop his ability. This is even more more apparent with Height Advantage, the next card we're going to look at.
Height Advantage
#Sideways# wrote:It's over Anakin -- I have the high ground!
Height Advantage is essentially Supercharge but for Titans, with a blue pip instead of the more useful Orange pip. This card is essentially a middle ground between Dino Chomp and Supercharge, and it definitely belongs in your list if you're playing a Titan
Protected by Metroplex
#Sideways# wrote:"I've got a lot of plans to do tonight, and dying isn't one of them!"
This card is strictly okay. It's essentially a Heroism with more moving parts, which makes me dislike it, but if you're playing a list with plenty of orange, you can't really go wrong. Plus, redundant cards in lists isn't actually a bad thing, especially with low draw power. I prefer playing Heroism on Metroplex instead of multiple of Protected By Metroplex on my smaller characters, but the end result is similar enough that it doesn't really matter.
Rally the City
#Sideways# wrote:"Alla till mig!"
Rally The City is one of my favorite cards to come out of this set. When you have this card in your hand at any time, you can use it to replace itself at worst. At best, you can use it to draw four(!) cards. This is a powerful, powerful card when you have enough time to set it up, and the premiere draw support with Metroplex.
In Closing
#Sideways# wrote:So, all in all, I would say that Metroplex is niche. It seems super powerful, but the problem is the set up time. It doesn't send everyone out at once when you transform Metroplex, it just sends one at a time. This makes it very easy for your opponent to punish your slow play by dominating each one of your small characters as soon as you put them on the battlefield.
Another problem Metroplex has is that 35 HP isn't actually all that much when your opponent can attack you several times more than you can, especially early game when Metroplex is alone.
What it has going for it is the Dinobot levels of damage that you can potentially pull off when you have all of that stacking Bold. But then, wouldn't playing Dinobots just be easier? Stacking Bold, dealing a lot of damage, tanking a lot of damage, that all sounds familiar, doesn't it?
There are such things as redundant cards in the game, but when it comes to redundant decks, I often find that the most consistent one takes the cake -- or the one that can do more damage more consistently, and that would be Dinobots.
I mean, you even play a card that is essentially Dino Chomp in Height Advantage. Maybe it's just me, but it just seems like Dinobots with more moving parts and less consistent draw.
Playing an all blue deck doesn't make it any better, either, since all of that Bold is doing absolutely nothing. You'd live forever, but you're trying to kill your opponent with the firepower of a low-battery flashlight. But all of that is my opinion, anyway, what's yours? Let me know in the comments below!
What do you think of these new cards? What characters would you like to see make the jump to the card game? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

More good news for all those looking for leader Optimal Optimus. Our own Seibertronian Bodrock found him at his local Target in Beaverton, Oregon. He says they also had "Rodimus, Optimus and Unicronus, but only one Optimal", which makes sense since Optimal Optimus comes repacked with Rodimus.
He was $45 USD. While this final leader class toy from POTP was also available at Walmart.com and Hasbro Toy Shop, him being found at a Target store means that every single release in the mainline has been available at retail, with multiple options to purchase (where and how). This is better than every other Transformers toyline of the recent past, where final waves and figures were often skipped.
This means that Hasbro's decision to have sublines last only 1 year did have a positive impact on distribution. This bodes well for Siege and the rest of the new War for Cybertron trilogy.

Most Transformers War for Cybertron Siege toys have now been found in the US. You can view all the DPCI codes to help you locat the particular figure you wish here. For those who are still on the fence, we have some great galleries at your disposal which show what you can accomplish with the figures. You can see them here:
Of course, some people also like looking at video reviews so we have made a round up below of some for the deluxe, micromaster and Battle Master class.

We have the gallery for the Transformers War for Cybertron Siege wave 1 Micromasters ready now. These are individual galleries for Storm Cloud, Visper, Flak, Topshot, Roadhandler and Swindler. They are sold in pairs for $9.99 in the US and can currently be found at Target.
While these are a new take on the G1 Micromaster concept, Hasbro did weave in some homages outside G1 such as Storm Cloud and Visper's combined mode which resembles the dark Star Sabre from the Unicron Trilogy. Each of these Micromaster pairs can combine to create a weapon, some more successful than others.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95. He leaves behind one of the greatest legacies ever achieved by a creator in any medium. As many of you know, he wrote and helped create some of the most beloved Marvel Characters like the X-Men, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and Spider-man, just to name a few. His creations crossed over with Transformers on several occasions, with Spider-man appearing as early as issue 3 in the Transformers comic. His name graced the pages of said comics with a proud "Stan Lee Presents" at the beginning of several issues back when he was publisher of Marvel Comics.
Also, Stan Lee was the Vice President Creative Affairs at Marvel Productions in the 80s overseeing all their cartoons, including one of their greatest hits, The Transformers.
We miss you Stan and we thank you for all the joy you have brought us, may you rest in peace.
This new poster is a drastic departure from the movie posters of the last few years, especially those related to Transformers. This poster features a very clean and non-cluttered appearance, with Bumblebee, Charlie, Agent Burns, and a big Autobot Symbol taking up the majority of the poster. The bottom features the California sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge in full view and Charlie and Bee looking out over the bay area.
Also, a nice subtle addition is the fact that we have Shatter and Dropkick in their aerial forms on the poster, a rarity for the Transformers seeing as how the movies main antagonists are hardly, if ever, on the posters themselves in any way.
There are also slight German and Russian variations on this poster design as well. The German poster includes Blitzwing in jet mode and German in place of English, while the Russian drops Agent Burns and the Decepticons. The German poster was found over at Comic Book Resources.
