Thanks to Nemesis Primal from Seibertron and jtprime from the TFW2005 boards, we have more Studio Series Soundwave news for you!
The new info comes to us from the Walmart mobile app, where a new UPC code was found for a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave figure. Now this is interesting seeing as how the next wave of Studio Series deluxes includes the Dark of the Moon Soundwave, and the following wave was just revealed to include Offroad Bumblebee, Shatter, and Roadbuster. Could we be looking at a possible new mold exclusive?
Another note to think about is the nature of this Soundwave rumor. We are getting the Dark of the Moon Soundwave, and while there is a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave body, we also now have the Bumblebee movie Soundwave. The Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave transformed into a satellite and featured an interesting triple changer toy complete with Ravage-esque missile in the 2009 line. The Bee movie Soundwave did not transform, so we are not quite sure what he would turn into.
But both are possibilities. Sound(wave) off below to let us know what you think of this rumor in the comments section below!

Thanks to our very own Nemesis Primal and TFW2005's own jtrprime, we have news that the Cyberverse ranks may be expanding even more.
As you might recall, the entire Maccadam wave was revealed a few weeks back, and among those figures was a brand new face, Thunderhowl. While we yet do not have any more images or pictures of Thunderhowl, we do have a new UPC code for the character. And surprisingly enough, along with Thunderhowl, we have another UPC code revealed, and this one is for a Cyberverse Skullcruncher!
Cyberverse has not provided us with a hint of a Skullcruncher joining the show or toy ranks so far, but we now have this UPC code that indicates that we may very well be getting a Skullcruncher. We will note that Skullcruncher's name is now spaced out to Skull Cruncher, probably to secure the trademark. The UPC's were located on the Walmart mobile app, and you can find them listed below.
We will keep an eye on the situation and let you know as soon as we get more news regarding a potential Skull Cruncher figure, as well as any and all Cyberverse news that might be coming!
UPC for Thunderhowl: 630509902583
UPC for Skull Cruncher: 630509902606

The Twincast / Podcast is caught in a web of awesome new toys as the evil Predacon Blackarachnia has shown up on the doorstep to terrorize our Masterpiece Beast Wars collections. Get caught in the discussion with host Scotty P welcoming Megatronus, D-Maximal_Primal and a short check-in with Jon3.0 as they talk about the latest Masterpiece releases, combining trains and so much more.
Megatronus and D-Max aren't feeling the significance of this year's Haul of Fame
Everyone loves animals, so if Beast Wars were to return in earnest, what cool animal modes would you like to see on new toys that weren't used in the past even if they were characters that never get defined in fiction? While the cast ponders that in ways intended and otherwise, re-live some of the best from the past with WilliamJames88's recent top five list about Beast Wars' toy-only characters.

He's shown up at online retailers, we've had video reviews but now we finally have a sighting of the original Cybertronian ape himself, Siege Apeface! Seibertronian D-Maximal_Primal found him at a Targét in Robinson, Pennsylvania. Yours truly found him the same day at a Walmart in Centerville, Utah. Included below is D-Max's photo proof and unboxed figure, and I've included some comparison photos with my own G1 Apeface, and his Titans Return incarnation. While you're enjoying this Apefacefest, why not check out Seibertron's own, high-quality galleries of the triple-changer Horrorcon by clicking here?
If you're out and about, and spot a new and/or anticipated figure, and there hasn't been a news item about it yet, just snap a picture as D_Max has done, and send it to us! Don't forget to post in your state's sightings forum as well, and let's see if we can get this figure into the hands of everyone who wants him.

Thanks to our friend carytheone, we have news that the Movie Masterpiece MPM-7 Bumblebee has been spotted for a discounted price at a Ross in Louisiana. Carytheone located this particular MPM-7 Bumblebee at a Ross along with some Power of the Primes legends figures and some remaining Titans Return Trypticon figures. Bumblebee has a price tag of $49.99, which is $30 lower than his initial $79.99 price tag when he was released last year.
Bumblebee is based on the body Bumblebee used for the majority of the Bumblebee movie, which came out last December, though he does have the signature Movie Bumblebee wings that the VW Bee did not have. The figure is a pretty decent figure despite the inaccuracies, incorporating some fun weapons and features that he used in the movie, and even some he did not.
So head on out to your local Ross', TJ Maxx, and Marshalls, and let us know what you find for sale this holiday season!

After the reveal yesterday from Preview's World, today we bring to you official images and pre-orders for the next wave of Studio Series deluxes, which consists of Jeep Bumblebee, Jet Shatter, and Roadbuster.
Both Bumblebee and Shatter come from the Bumblebee movie, released last year. Jeep Bumblebee is a take on the character as he appeared when he first came to Earth in that movie, transforming into a jeep in an attempt to escape the humans he accidentally crash landed into, and it's also the body that he fought Blitzwing in (who is still waiting on his Studio Series figure). Shatter meanwhile transforms into her second alt mode, a Harrier jet, and uses her robot mode body from the later part of the movie that incorporates both alt modes, whereas her first Studio Series figure was based on her initial Earth mode body. Roadbuster is based on the Wrecker character from 2011's Dark of the Moon, transforming into an armored version of Dale Earnhardt Junior's #88 Chevrolet.
Check out the images and descriptions below, and then after that see the pre-orders to get yours secured for next April!

Many people, myself included, were disappointed to not see Omega Supreme get a massive discount for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, something that has been a bit of an annual Titan tradition for the past few years. But it seems they were just waiting a week. Right now Amazon is offering Omega Supreme for the low price of $111.99 for a limited time. As of this writing there's about 20 hours remaining in the deal, but it's quite possible the big guy will sell out before then. This is a massive $48 off the original price of $159.99. While a lower price might happen as we get closer to Christmas do you really want to take that chance?
Let us know in the Energon Pub forums below if you managed to take advantage of the discount (I did) or if you might be holding off for something better down the road.

Thanks to our old pal chuckdawg1999, we have a new video review for you today, starring the final deluxe class Autobot from Siege: Crosshairs!
Crosshairs is a repaint of the wave 2 Ironhide figure, complete with a new head that is accurate to his animation model from the 4th season of the G1 Cartoon, AKA The Rebirth. Crosshairs comes with the same weapon as Ironhide did, though you can give him the Trenchfoot Battlemaster that came in the Autobot Amazon package that included G2 Sidewipe and Slamdance.
Crosshairs is showing up in stores now, so head on out and hunt him down! And if this video review wasn't enough, you can always check out our Seibertron.com gallery for Crosshairs.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Crosshairs is a repaint with a new head of Ironhide based on the late G1 Targetmaster. Thankfully, the leg panels are tighter on Crosshairs than on Ironhide and hold in place during transformation. All the joints are just as stable as on my copy on Ironhide which is a tip of the hat to the Hasbro design team that in the Siege line all repaints were just as good as their original versions.

Category:Toy News Posted by:william-james88 | Credit(s): Amazon UK Topic Options: View Discussion · Views: 25,039 Amazon UK has some nice new photos up for the upcoming Transfomrers Cyberverse deluxe figures. They have preorders for Optimus Prime and Megatron up at 20.99 pounds a piece and each listing shows us the robot pose, the vehicle mode and the toy in package. What is really fun about these toys is that getting some standard traditional toys means we finally have decent representations of the new designs Emiliano Santalucia had done for Hasbro a while back. They are included below, mixed along with the images of the toys for you to compare. These toys are slated for a January 1 release and have already been spotted in Hong Kong. These have a similar height/articulation/complexity/price to siege deluxe toys but also come with a clear plastic effect piece and a build a figure piece to make a bonus Maccadam figure. We can see that they have wrist articulation and ankle tilt.

There are two pieces of news that have been brought to our attention lately, all involving Studio Series figures. First, via site sponsor Robot Kingdom, and their Facebook page, we have in package images of Voyager Class Movie 1 Megatron and Mixmaster. This marks the first time we've seen this version of Megatron in his packaging, though as Seibertronian D- Maximal_Primal points out,
the movie 1 toy has the 2nd movie torso and the art on the box is the first movie body with the 2nd movie head
Accuracy issues aside, it's notable that this version of Megatron also barely fits in his box as well- looks like he'll be a large sized Voyager, like his predecessor. Mixmaster on the other hand, is quite a wide figure, taking up a lot of space in his box.
And in other Studio Series news, it appears that a couple of Japanese Twitter users have gotten their hands on figures of Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1 and managed to combine them. If you'll remember a decade ago, the original deluxe sized versions of Arcee and Chromia had parts on their figures that served no other purpose, but were rumored to have been part of a leftover movie concept that would have shown the three combining. As it is, those features made it into Arcee and Chromia's figures, but Elita-1 was relegated to a redeco of Chromia's figure, so the concept was nixed.
Whether these Studio Series figures are officially supposed to combine, or these are just some clever fan modes remains to be seen, but there are some good shots of all three fembots in both modes included. These pictures come from Twitter users @konkiti1031 and @Pta56556613. Thanks to Seibertronian Sammythekat for the heads up!

Not too long ago, Viz Media released a very large and very pretty book that contains visual artwork from the whole history of the Transformers brand. This book, titled Transformers: A Visual History, contains artwork from many different toylines, tv shows, and games from G1 to Armada to the Movies and more. It even includes art that we might not have seen before, as evidenced by the Primal Prime artwork found in the book for Power of the Primes.
The book, which is very large and has proven to be very popular, has now gotten its own Sizzle reel too. Viz media released this roughly 1 minute long video to show off the book and gather some more attention for it. The reel doesn't really have a ton of content, but it does give us a nice teaser as to the vast content of the book.
Check out the video below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

As we get ready to close out the year, the Transformers Hall of Fame is ready to induct a few new members from 2019!
The 2019 Hall of Fame vote is now online, and you can find that vote HERE. The vote contains 2 different voting areas, one for a new fictional character to join the Hall of Fame Lineup, the other to induct a Hasbro Transformers figure from this year into the Hall of Fame. Don't worry, this vote is open to anyone and is not exclusive to social media sites, allowing anyone with an internet connection to vote.
This year, the vote is a little strange, with only 1984 cartoon cast members being on the vote. Amusingly, this vote does include little known character Hauler, who showed up only briefly in the cartoon but has become a fan favorite with a cult following.
Head on over to the vote, and let us know below who you voted to go into the Hall of Fame!
2019 CATEGORIES:
Favorite fictional character from the 1984 season of The Transformers animated television series.
2019 Transformers War for Cybertron Siege toy of the year.
See the official Facebook announcement with link to vote here!
Voting begins Tuesday, December 3 at 10am EST (TODAY!) and closes on Friday, December 7 at 11:59pm EST.
Winners of both categories will be announced on the Transformers Facebook page later this month.
