The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with faces old and new as ScottyP, Megatronus, xRotorStormx, and prodigal son RodimusCOnvoy13 tackle the latest Transformers news and more.
Episode #278 “The Return of Rodimus Prime” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
We start with a non-focused catch-up chat with RodimusConvoy13. Just hangin' out, talkin' Transformers to kick this one off, with no set topic in mind.
After that, the discussion moves on to another War For Cybertron Kingdom Battle Across Time 2-pack - what a mouthful. This time, it's Maximal Skywarp and Earth-mode Sideswipe. Listen as we admire the double bird heads and try to pick out the differences from Siege Sideswipe. Sold out on Pulse, still available for PO on Amazon.
Prior leaks have yielded this totally expected first look Road Rage. We welcome more lady-bots... and suspect Road Rage would give Tracks a swift kick in the lugnuts.
Speaking of leaks: Waspinator. Since this episode recorded, it appears a video comparison has emerged, which validates our collective 'meh' reaction.
Here we go: more redecos, this time under the banner of Takara Premium Finish. But you know what? We can actually get behind a few of these.
Special Topic: considering the discussion thus far, which do you prefer - option A of "make a new toy of a character even if it's not as good as the previous iteration", or option B of "re-rel

Hasbro has just finished their Transformers Fan First Friday livestream on YouTube (which you can view below). We have screenshots in a gallery that showcases all of the reveals and pictures for you!
This livestream was mainly focused on the 35th Anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, and as such, they showed off the 35th anniversary editions of the movie, in Steelbook and 4K UHD versions, both of which feature artwork from acclaimed pop culture artist Matt Ferguson (www.cakesandcomics.com). The Steelbook will be available to preorder via Shout Factory's website starting on Monday, May 24th, and the 4K version will be available later this summer.
Next up, they officially revealed Studio Series 86-07 Leader Class Slug with Daniel Witwicky! While his existence was known for weeks, with even video reviews popping up, we did get to see his packaging, and he'll come with the same Sharkticon Pit backdrop as Grimlock.
And as you can see from that last picture, we're also getting Deluxe Class Sharkticon Gnaw! Studio Series 86-08, Deluxe Class Gnaw (now properly labeled as a Quintesson) is far more screen accurate than any previous version, and this new-mold figure includes his tail mace, and in a nod to his 1986 toy, his G1-styled gun is also included. Also, a comparison with his Titans Return incarnation was shown, and we can see that he's significantly bigger.
Next up was last week's leaked figure, Voyager Class Wreck-Gar! Many fans will be very pleased to know that he can, indeed, ride himself! Apologies for not getting a clearer shot, but it was demonstrated that not only can the Voyager Wreck-Gar ride himself, but Deluxe Class figures can also ride him. His packaging also showcases the Planet of Junk backdrop.
And the final reveal of the livestream was Shattered Glass Starscream! Using the Siege tetrajet mold in SG Starscream's traditional colors (inspired by G1 Jetfire), he also includes a sword accessory that can split into two separate swords.
In addition to the reveals above, Hasbro also has a special promo code to get 30% off apparel right now. Just use the code ISTILLFUNCTION to take advantage of this special.
So what do you think? Are you excited to add to your Studio Series 86 collection? Looking forward to adding another heroic Decepticon to your ranks? All the toys revealed will be available to preorder at 1PM EST on Hasbro Pulse.
The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with a yellow stream of fury as Bumblebee ScottyP, Bumblebee Megatronus, and Bumblebee Mr Starscream tackle the latest Transformers news, wordplays, and catch phrases.
Episode #276 “Whoops! All Bumblebees” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
We start with the return of differentiated Takara product within a trojan horse: the Premium Finish line. The initials 'PF' may or may not confer glory on one of our crew members.
Amazon is kicking off another burdensomely named exclusive subline: War For Cybertron Kingdom Battle Across Time Collection, starting with Grimlock and Mirage. Available here and on Pulse.
Bot Bots are back with a vengeance... and media support. Does the Twincast think this unique entry into the Transformers mythos will endure this time around?
Special Topic: what are some Transformers you think are universally, or near to it as possible, thought of as cool, awesome, and fun by the fandom at large?
Listener Questions from D-Maximal_Prime: Hw committed are you to completing teams in this hobby, toy wise? If you could choose your favorite type of pretender concept (human, monster, beast, vehicle, etc.), which would it be?
Bragging rights! What has everyone gotten since last time? [WHOOPS! ALL BUMBLEBEES]

Greetings one and all! Thanks to our fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade, we've been pointed to Takara Tomy's Twitter account, where they've revealed a handful of in-hand images of the upcoming Kingdom Commander Class Rodimus Prime! The first few show the G1 cartoon Season 3's Autobot leader in a nice spot showing off some of his poseability in robot mode, and weapon storage in vehicle mode, including how to store the Sword of Primus underneath his space Winnebago mode.
Next up is a set showing off an nice pose with both his weapons, and his hand articulation, and its ability to point individual fingers.
And last, but not least, we have a fantastic comparison shot, showing him next to his predecessor, Optimus Prime, showing that he is indeed larger than Optimus.
So what are your thoughts? Is he already on your preorder list? If he's not, do these photos do anything to change that? Let us know what you think below!

Episode #274 “Pulse Fan Fest 2021” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
We start big with what we all knew was coming: The Autobot Ark. He's big, he's yellow, and he's giving us cause to break out our prop replicas of Mount Saint Helens.
Questions about Commander Class Rodimus Prime's trailer are answered, and Leader Galvatron is looking more spry these days, what being properly transformed.
Voyager Rhinox, Deluxe Scorponok, and Deluxe Tracks keep the crew busy for awhile - mostly positive with the occasional jaw chest or flying car quibble.
Fossilizers are all the rage, with deluxe Wingfinger, deluxe Tricranius, and core Dracodon raising questions about combiners and demands for more magma decos. Oh, and core Soundwave is cool.
The big Fan Fest surprise was the reveal of Robosen's Optimus Prime - auto-converting, programmable, super cool, and wholly unnecessary.
Shattered Glass Blurr is bringing the pain with crazy eye patch and sexy packaging. Some of the crew might even be convinced to finally go in on the evil Autobots and heroic Decepticons.
Holy space potatoes - Studio Series Leader Slag has been revealed, renewing hope across the fandom for a complete line of chunky, polite Dinobot pals who say 'excuse me!'

Takara Tomy put up a new video advert for MP-53 Skids and MP-54 Reboost on their site. If you live in Japan (or if you have a VPN ) you can see the video directly and browse the high definition pictures HERE.
For the rest of the world, or for those who want to go the simple route, our fellow Seibertronian Powered Convoy found the mirror of the video on YouTube. The video show more angles on both figures, some more feature like an opening hood that reveal the engine, and a very brief transformation demo. Watch it at your leisure below:
Are you exited about their releases? Let us know what you think!
