Thanks to several Seibertronians, we have news of potential further releases for the Netflix subline of War for Cybertron figures. From a thread on Google Groups, a Walmart employee by the screenname Zobovor was looking around in the computer and found listings for Deluxe figures from the Netflix line. These figures were listed at their own pricepoint and listing separate from regular Siege Deluxe figures. Take a look at the screenshot below.
So it seems that Bumblebee might finally make an appearance in a current toyline, after not having a Generations figure since Titans Return in 2016. Not only that, but we may be getting a figure of Deep Cover, a character first released by Ehobby in the early 2000s as a G1 Sideswipe recolor in a Diaclone color scheme.
Other possible figures include a Quintesson, Elita 1, Wheeljack, Red Alert, Barricade, and Impactor. As we don't have official confirmation of these figures, please take them with a grain of salt until we have news from Hasbro to share.
So what do you all make of these listings? Fo you think these figures will be new? Remolds? Recolors? Repaints? Feel free to speculate below, and stay tuned to Seibertron for all your Transformers news!
Studio Series Barricade was spotted in the US two months ago and yet there is an aspect that has gone under the radar. Behind the toy, near the Ford licence, we have a bilingual contest where everyone gets a prize for having purchased an officially licensed Ford product. It is unknown what the variety of prizes are but you will at least get a wallpaper for your mobile phone. The one I received was of a Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Secca (a car I didn't know existed until now), which you can see below. The QR scanning can be wonky so if you have an issue you can simply visit the website www.vmp.mobi/ford on your mobile and enter the 2 codes found under the QC code for your prize.
So far we know it is available in the US an Canada. Let us know if it works for other countries and what your prizes are!
The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is gearing up for the latest waves of Siege and Masterpeice toys, and the highly anticipated IDW reboot. Your host ScottyP along with Megatronus, D-Maximal_Primal, and Jon3.0 discuss their in-hand thoughts of their hot-off-the-production-line acquisitions and in-depth reading of Transformers #1 and the "bold new era" Hasbro and IDW Publishing are building.
We kick off the show with Megatronus' in-hand impressions of Siege Voyager Soundwave, and soon to be in-hand impressions of Siege Voyager Starscream.
ScottyP similarly got his paws on the newly released Studio Series Wave 6 deluxes, including Shatter and the surprisingly delightful Scrapmetal... who will give you the clamps!
When we spoke about the MP10 Atmos Safari Lebron collaboration on the last Twincast, we figured there'd be more oddball MP10 redecos, eventually. Well, we already have wind of 2 more Atmos collaborations: Tiger Camo Black & Yellow, which we have affectionately dubbed Big Cat Convoys.
We get to reveals out of Australian Toy Fair, including Micromaster Sports Car & Off Road Patrols, and the Twincast-predicted Siege deluxe Barricade. While the Twincast crew debates whether this is the Barricade we deserve, it is certainly the Barricade we need.
We talk about IDW's Transformers #1, reviewed here. *** SPOILER ALERT: Transformers #1 spoilers discussed from approximately 1:05-1:34 ***, so skip ahead just past that point in the audio if you're waiting for the trade! It's always tough to write #1s, but between the strong art and twin atmospheres of open discovery and claustrophobic chaos, Transformers #1 does a reasonable job of setting the scene on a new era. The Twincast hopes for great things, and more painfully accurate toy drawings.
We answer illustrious one of News Crew member D-Maximus's questions: "Which Supreme Commander and Emperor of Destruction (of any faction or point in time) is your favorite outside of the standard Optimus Prime, Rodimus, Megatron, and Galvatron?" Mmm... destruction.
Of course we close out this episode with a short round of Bragging Rights.

Thank to Takara Tomy and their official YouTube channel - but also the Facebook page for fan community Transformers Never Die for the mirroring of the clip out of region lock - we have a new promotional clip for the Japanese toy releases (though remember: Hasbro and Takara Tomy Transformers are identical since the unification of the brand in the past year) that will accompany the upcoming live-action Bumblebee Movie!
In the clip, embedded below from the two sources, we get a look at Power Charge Bumblebee, the Legendary Optimus Prime we last reported on here, and the Turbo Changers / Energon Igniters line (with Barricade, OP and BB) - but also the Studio Series line outside of the Bumblebee movie. Check it out below!
Posted over on the YouTube page for Seibertron.com, we finally have all the walkthrough videos and recordings of the displays, sets, and panels that offered a look at new and previously revealed products for the Transformers brand - including the Bumblebee Movie panel and the general Transformers brand presentation from Hasbro.
We've included all of our videos below, and linked to each of the current discussion threads in the Energon Pub discussion forums, so may join in the conversation without the wires getting crossed - so make sure to click on those to share your thoughts!

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP (back from a much needed vacation) along with Starscream and Razorclaw0000 as we dish on a massive amount of Movie toys and more. Wade into the Bayhem with us below!
Episode #198 "A Night in the Studio" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
First up, we talk about the recently available Studio Series Leader Grimlock and Blackout, and Voyagers Starscream and Optimus Prime. We discuss comparisons to previous figures, scale, articulation, alt modes, engineering, and much more!
He just needs a hug
Following up, we discussed availability and in-hand impressions of (currently) Toys'R'Us-exclusive Studio Series Thundercracker. We speculate on eventual availability at other chains, after-market prices, and discussion of the figure itself.
Wazzpinator blue now
We then take a quick hop to Takara-land and discuss the recent Movie The Best figures as well as how Movie the Best and Studio Series fit together as a whole. We talk through some of the gems in the line, and the future of the movie toys. The cast works together here to find out if both MB and Studio Series can live together in harmony on your shelf.
We are going to be insane on the secondary market in a few years
Closing out our movie discussion, Scotty gives us a great in-hand preview of MPM-5 Barricade. While not generally available yet, many of our sponsors have this figure in stock or have available pre-orders. We chat about many of the details, including complexity, articulation, accessories, size, and more.
Are you username Ladiesman217?
Next, Starscream gives us an overview of Dairycon, which recently held its 18th annual convention in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. We discuss the dealer room, growth of the convention, exclusives, and general atmosphere, comparing it to other unofficial fan-run conventions. Might there even be some luck involved? Maybe the kind that's drawn!?
Puns... everywhere!
We next touch on some listener discussion from Episode 197. In this segment we talk about a potential timeline for IDW's reboot, and the merits and drawbacks of both immediately rebooting and waiting.
We bring the show to a close with some quick discussion on some recent toy news, including the availability of Authentics at Market 6 retailers, an Armada-inspired Nemesis Prime, and the long-awaited release of LG-EX Greatshot and Grand Maximus. We wrap things up with a quick "Bragging Rights" section.
Imagine trying to explain this to yourself from 2008...

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast! This episode features your host ScottyP with Megatronus, RodimusConvoy13, and xRotorstormx. Listen in as we discuss the latest news, toys, and more.
Episode #189 "S.O.S. Dinobots" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
The cast has obtained select Power of the Primes deluxe class and legends class figures, and we're ready to share our thoughts. Each of the deluxe class figures has their allure, but Dreadwind and Swoop appear to be the consensus favorites. On the legends side, Beachcomber is groovy, and Windcharger is still... questionable. But at the end of the day, we're still asking the million dollar question: who asked for combining Dinobots?
Not just a redeco.
We sidebar for a short discussion on the surprisingly good deluxe Power of the Primes Jazz - that car mode is fantastic - and the even more surprising Cybertronian-coded MAGA tampo on his side. The crew does its level best to explain the situation, from the context on why this particular acronym might be offensive to many, our personal disappointment in the sullying of this minority-voiced character, to the shortcomings in Hasbro's official response.
It's no joke.
Onto equally wacky but more upbeat topics, we've got wind of the upcoming Street Fighter II crossover, featuring Titans Returns Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Hot Rod as Ryu, M. Bison, and Ken, as well as Generations IDW Arcee as Chunli. These are some difficult repaints to justify a secondary purchase, but we're sure there are fans out there who are just as excited as we are intrigued.
All hail MEGS Bison!
Speaking of redecos, MP12+ Lambor (AKA Sideswipe) has started shipping out to those fans looking for a G1/anime-accurate color scheme. ScottyP walks us through the differences, including the varying shades of white and the MP14 face sculpt used for this release. Although the crew predicts only dedicated MP collectors will make the jump for this release, we hope for more MP+ announcements, particularly an MP10+ and perhaps even a whole new Optimus Prime 3.0.
He's got white booties!!!
We quickly move to another piece of Masterpiece news - the full reveal of MP Dinobot. Select alt-mode weaknesses aside, this figure already appears to be a landmark feat of engineering, and the Generations crossover display possibilities have us chomping at the golden disk. Dinobot's high price point, however, leads us to speculate on the body-blow a potential Beast Wars Megatron has in store for our wallets..
Money shot.
Masterpiece news isn't over yet, folks - we've still got Movie Masterpiece Barricade on the docket, and his full reveal has got us in a tizzy. It's amazing what one forgets over 10 years, and so the crew parses over specific design cues, and their accuracy - including the face sculpt, claws, and the conspicuous lack of Frenzy. Either way, we highly anticipate some racy interrogations of LadiesMan217 ahead.
Mischief, managed.
ScottyP provides some thoughts on the RID15 cartoon conclusion, and then we jump right into Optimus Prime #13 - official Seibertron.com review here. Though this issue starts a slow but welcome consolidation of open threads, questions remain. How is Onyx Prime influencing events? When are they going to finally elaborate on Bludgeon's Unicron connection? Will the reemergence of the Dinobots lead us back to Grimlock? Most importantly... could Prowl be any more badass?
Oh, those Dinobots - always getting into trouble.
Bragging Rights for the holidays: what's on our holiday wish lists, and what did we score on Black Friday?
We gotta have it.

Episode #187 "Madman's Paradise" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
The show begins with a discussion about the latest Power of the Primes information. A great deal of both Tech Spec cards and packaging artwork made their way into the news cycle from unofficial sources. Couple that with Combiner artwork, package images, renders, and toy images for a spark to power speculation on Combiner Teams, Moonracer's feet, and how these file cards will be packed in. There's still a lot of uncertainty when it comes to Power of the Primes and we do our best to figure out what we're seeing. Have speculations of your own? Post in the discussion thread for this episode or in the Power of the Primes thread!
I thought his name was Metalhawk.
Moving on from Power of the Primes leaks, we take a look at what appear to be images of new Movie themed toys. We start off with very blurry and pixelated images of what appear to be Revenge of the Fallen Megatron and a 2007 Movie Brawl. The figures come with backdrops that are part of the packaging. While we don't know what size class these are meant to be yet, Brawl looks to be significantly different from the previous Leader and Deluxe Class figures. An early render/color guide for a possible Movie Masterpiece Barricade comes next, and we think about what could be done to improve on the older but still fantastic Human Alliance figure. We discuss this as well as why characters from the first live action movie seem to be the stand out characters from the movie series.
This is what Transformers look like when RodimusConvoy13 doesn't wear his glasses.
ScottyP gives us his thoughts on Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee, including why it's better to him in almost every way as compared to MPM-4 Movie Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Check out Seibertron's Gallery right here. We discuss some QC issues Seibertron had with his figure. While the toy has been out for a few months, it's just now hitting many store shelves in earnest so we hope this topic will help you decide if this Bee is a worthy addition to your swarm!
I've always wanted a Cory Matthews action figure!
We move away from toys into Comics, starting with First Strike Optimus Prime. We discuss where the issue fits with the rest of First Strike (Yes, it was late.) ScottyP gives a brief history of the retconning of Hearts of Steel to a skeptical RodimusConvoy13. There's a fun appearance of Kup and Action Man to take in as well, with the crossover not completely leaving those characters behind. Also, what's up with Centurion, and why do some of the crew hate him so much?
Give me your faceplate!!
The discussion of the Optimus One Shot moves us to a discussion of Optimus Prime #11. See our review here. ScottyP and Megatronus take on the discussion as RodimusConvoy realizes he bought the issue and never read it. Talking heads, colonists, and even one Twincast member remembering this single issue as two separate entities awaits in this topic.
That's one fast moving lobster!
We move on to First Strike #5 and #6. See our review for #5 here and for #6 here. While the series started off fun, the last two issues seem to get bogged down with a bit too much Scarlett and Joe Colton. We also consider if an explanation of how the battle with Vigilem effected Windblade have helped explain her acting against character in First Strike, and have some serious laughs while we ask the real question - was all of First Strike just leading up to the reintroduction of Visionaries?
Um, it's "Yo Joe".
Perhaps First Strike wasn't all for naught. What about those last four pages? Kreiger may have brought back the Visionaries, but what else did he bring back? To quote Supreme Leader Snoke, "There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?"(Editor's Note: We don't talk about Episode VII.) I've just got this feeling...
That's right. He's back! The Chaos Bringer returns! How will this effect the rest of the IDW Universe? We talk about what we'd like to see come out of this. Should this be something that happens quickly or should Unicron stay in the background for a while before revealing himself to the rest of the universe? One thing we agree is good is that at least he's not Earth this time around.
Where'd that come from?
We finish our episode with some bragging rights. There are swords, legends, Devastator, and even six-changers too! And as always, there's more on the way through the bowels of the postal system.
Who needs six modes when you have this awesome one!
That's it for this episode. Thanks for sticking with us and being loyal listeners, or if it was your first episode, we hope you'll tune in for more in the future. We'll have another episode for you in about 2 weeks, and look for a bonus episode discussing the controversial Lost Light #10 sometime soon as well!
