There is a lot you can do with the lists. In light of Combiner Wars I think a top 5 combiner list has to happen

Thanks, all fine choices but I have a few questions.

For the combiners, should it be about the fiction or the toys?

And same question for the other ones, are we taking about specific toys or general cars and animals?

Like would it be "top 5 best Transformers toys with car alt modes" or "top 5 best car modes of transformers toys" or "top 5 best Cars Transformers turn into"? The last one would limit Lamborghini to get only one entry.

Combiners I would go with toys only and only gestalts that have more then 3+ members.

Beasts would be the top 5 transformers with beast modes

Cars I was thinking top 5 realistic cars that transformers turn into

Toys only for all

I see, so should we count the gestalts that come in Combiner Wars or, since they aren't all out yet, just count the ones that came out before?

That's a tough one as there's still some surprises left. In terms of fairness it may be best to leave the combiner wars products out or push that top 5 back till when the line is over.

Yeah, thas what I thought, we'll see. As for best beast modes and cars, since its only top 5, it might be tough and restirctive. Like, for cars, since we are looking at the best car modes, its pretty much just g1, alternators and MPs that I'd be looking at. But if I go, say, best lambourghini, then I could throw in maybe a movie figure or RID Prowl. Same goes with animals. Best dinosaurs, felines, water based animals would be more precise than best animals. Actually, I have some in the backlog and one of them is best water based altmodes where I combine both submaries and sharks. But this is all good stuff, I'll see what I can come up with.

New list: Top 5 Tank Transformers

Um the dates on these list threw me off i thought there would be more. Since they say 2014 not 2015.

Either way they are enjoyable. I think a shock wave tank could have made the list tho. Personally i sold my beast machines tankor over the summer. I got the new smaller one if there was ever a time for an oversize ko it would be him. That would be boss.

True, but some time from now (years?), you could do the Top 5 beast modes and draw from the previous lists such as: "Best dinosaurs, felines, water based animals". You could pull from only the previous lists, or use all of your research.

How about the weirdest looking Transformers. Off the top of my head, I would include ROTF Fallen, Prime RID Soundwave, Thunderwing. Those guys look alien, even to Transformers. Doesn't someone even say to Soundwave something like "are you even Cybertronian?"

I have enough for about 3 years now (not all finished of course) so yeah thats exactly what I will do with the car transformers, thats a great idea!

It should for sure, but I may need the help of your guys for the angle.

I dont know if I should center the "ridiculousness" around the context or not.

For instance, if I look at the alt modes as disguises, Omega Supreme is really a ridiculous alt mode. That thing is not subtle and no one would ever think its a clever disguise. Also, he can just bea rocket and yet wherever he lands, his whole base is also there, pretty ridiculous.

If you think of them as robots at war, then the toys from the Micromaster line dont really work. A boombox vs a microscope is pretty ridiculous.

But as toys, they happen to be awesome alt modes.

So I dont know.

We could do ridiculous as toys, but I can't think of any past BW Injector. Oh wait, Braodside is super ridiculous. A triple changer that turns from a plane to a helicarrier?! That's a pretty good one. If any of you can think of others, please let me know.

I would say do both, I mean certain disguises are completely stupid. You know, I never understood the micromasters concept, I like the toys but are the alt modes supposed to be tge same size as normal tfs and it's the bot that's smaller or are they totally snaller,in which case they fail at hiding in plain sight
